The Cosumnes River College Parking Structure won the 2014 American Public Works Association (Sacramento Chapter) Project of the Year for structures in the $10M-$50M range. It’s a 5-level, 2,016 stall, 596,450SF that serves both CRC and Regional Transit Light Rail passengers. Characteristics include solar panels that power the structure, an electronic system that counts available parking spaces, charging stations for electric vehicles, and two electronic marquees on the east-side towers.
