Seventy-five years ago, my grandfather, John F. Otto, started his construction company out of the back his pickup truck after returning from World War II and to provide for my grandmother and their five children. On handshake promises, he built for other family businesses in the Sacramento area including grocery stores, shoe stores, and restaurants. He continued to build his company on the core values of hard work, honesty, integrity, and compassion for others. Holding true to those principles, his business steadily grew decade after decade. With a modest reputation and steady backlog of clients, John F. Otto, Inc. transitioned to the next generation with my dad Carl Otto assuming the role of President. The company continued to thrive under his leadership with his quiet charisma that was contagious to employees and clients alike. Taking on the role of President is an honor and privilege for me holding true to the values inspired by my grandfather and dad. We start our 75th year with a team second to none in the industry and we look forward to building with you!
