Willow Hall is first new building on the Stanislaus State Stockton Campus at University Park. The 50,000SF academic building is a transformative addition to the campus, establishing a prominent new gateway and visual hub for both the University and the surrounding community.

Designed to bring new energy and identity to an established campus, the building supports a diverse mix of programs, including a 300+ seat event center, approximately 20 instructional and laboratory classrooms, administrative offices, and nursing suite. As the central gathering place for the campus, the facility emphasizes connection and community, offering a variety of large and small social spaces that foster collaboration, accessibility, and student engagement.

The construction of this new classroom and administration building is the largest investment in North Salinas High School since its original construction in 1959. The two-story building contains 18 classrooms, including sports medicine, new student plaza, and administration offices. The expanded parking lot and drop off lanes create a new main entrance for the campus. 

The construction of the new Oak Ridge Elementary School serves as a testament to the Sacramento City Unified School District’s commitment to build equity in historically marginalized and underserved neighborhoods. The new 53,300SF school was constructed on the current play fields, and consist of a two-story classroom building, kindergarten and preschool building, library, exploration lab, multi-purpose room, student services, and a community engagement center. The original campus was demolished to make room for play fields and hard courts.

The new Art Sculpture Lab at Sacramento State replaces a warehouse currently housing the department since the 1960’s. The 20,377SF building provides appropriate and safe instructional and graduate studio spaces for drawing, painting, sculpture, metal fabrication, and woodworking, including a secure working courtyard and a public sculpture yard.

The building program is formed around a central courtyard into which the buildings view and access. This final phase of development complements the original program and includes 5 science labs and associated prep space, 6 classrooms, 4 computer labs, a multi-purpose art lab, faculty offices, administration space and collaboration spaces of different scales both inside and outside the building.

The new 2-story 75,000SF science building is Los Rios Community College District’s single largest value project ever constructed. The instructional building houses six Biology labs, six Chemistry labs, and a 4,000 sq. ft. Science Center, allowing Folsom Lake College (FLC) to significantly expand its science program. Located near the main entrance of FLC, the new building establishes a dramatic and beautiful presence. Building on the occupied campus required close coordination to ensure student and staff safety, and to limit disruptions to existing operations.
